CEO
Austin Dickson is CEO of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. The Community Foundation, headquartered in Kerrville, makes grants to nonprofit organizations and awards academic scholarships to students. The Foundation annually grants over $5 million to several hundred charitable causes throughout the Hill Country.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation in 2017, Austin lived in Atlanta, Georgia, where he led several organizations addressing poverty issues. He was Executive Director of a homeless shelter as well as an adult literacy program helping people get their GED.
Austin serves on the Board of Directors for the Upper Guadalupe River Authority and the KLRN Endowment Fund, which supports the San Antonio area’s PBS station.
